Ball and Chain!!

Well as of march 6th 2010 I am a married man. At the ripe age of 26 I tied the knot to Anne. I know this may come to a surprise to everyone that knows me but even I can fall in love. We had a excellent wedding at her parents house in Twin Falls ID.

Since then we have gone on a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The sun was out and temps were between 75 and 80 degrees the entire time. I'm not sure if any of you have ever been to an all inclusive resort but I will tell you the good, the bad, and the ugly of these great establishments.

All Inclusive Resort,
Good - You pay one price upfront and you have transportation, food for the entire time, sun, beach, towels, and lot and lots of alcohol. Now for you lushes out there you should know that I do not drink. If you wanted to be completely plastered for your entire vacation then this is the route for you. If you do not want to then you should still go and enjoy all the food and sun. The dirty taco carts in town are excellent!!!

Bad - If they happen to be fixing stuff at the resort when you are there then you have to deal with construction dust. If they happen to have a really bad smelling back of a kitchen or something that you have to walk by to get to the beach and you want to puke every time you walk by then tough.

Ugly - Sometimes the food can be bad. This particular resort had horrible dinners. They tried to make them look very fancy and such, but in the end the food was bland and shoty and best. We went in to town and ate tacos at the local dirt taco carts!!!

The overall experience is good. It is a lot of fun.

Washington DC Weather

Well this last week I was in Washington DC for a few days. When I arrive there was a little skiff of snow. Maybe 2 inches. The guy who gave me a ride from the airport to the hotel I was staying out was freaking out and proceeded to tell me about every major storm that has happened this year. December 19th was a day of infamy in DC. The Washington Post called that day "Snowpocalypse." They also talked about the snow storm of 1996 and how it shut everything down.

The skiff that was there when I arrived Tuesday canceled school at most of the area schools on Wednesday and delayed them a few hours the day after that. It is hilarious how snow shuts that place down.

I also spent $30 for a taxi... WTF
